930 Matchbook Advertising Cuts of the Twenties and Thirties -
These black and white images from matchbook covers of the 1920's and 1930s range in design from goofy to elegant. There are some wonderfully designed Art Deco images here, and some of the tag lines are a hoot. "Tourists cabins: modern, all comforts!" From a dry cleaner, "Come Clean With Us! And Let Us Dye For You". Best of all are the type treatments, which are truly inspirational.
